The Right Specialist
For Every Trade.
P&L Home Group does not employ one generalist crew. We maintain a network of licensed, insured specialist contractors — each personally vetted by owner Victor Pastor for quality, reliability, and value. You get the best craftspeople for every trade, supervised by the owner who answers the phone.

One Generalist Crew Can't Build Everything Right.
Most landscaping companies send the same crew to do pavers, concrete, electrical, and plumbing. The result is predictable: jacks of all trades, masters of none.
P&L Home Group does it differently. We design your project. Then we bring in the right specialist for every trade — a licensed mason for your retaining wall, a certified electrician for your outdoor kitchen, a concrete specialist for your foundation. Each one has been personally vetted by Victor.
You get better craftsmanship, better value, and one point of accountability: Victor coordinates every specialist, supervises every day, and stands behind the finished work with a written 2-year warranty.

How We Choose Who Works on Your Property.
Every contractor in our network has passed the same rigorous process. No shortcuts. No exceptions. Victor personally approves every specialist before they ever set foot on a client's yard.
License Verification
Every contractor must hold an active Virginia DPOR license in their trade. We verify license status, classification, and standing directly with the state.
Insurance & Bonding Check
We require current general liability ($1M minimum), workers compensation, and commercial auto coverage. Certificates are reviewed annually.
Portfolio & Reference Review
Contractors submit photo-documented work samples and 3+ client references. Victor personally calls every reference and inspects completed projects when possible.
On-Site Trial Project
New contractors start with a supervised trial project. Victor is on site daily to evaluate craftsmanship, cleanliness, communication, and punctuality.
Ongoing Performance Review
Every contractor is evaluated after each project. Quality scores, client feedback, and timeline adherence determine who stays on the network.

How Our Contractor Model Works.
Q.Does P&L Home Group have its own employees who do the construction?
No. P&L Home Group is a design and project management company. We do not claim to be a licensed construction contractor. Every build trade is performed by independent licensed contractors who have passed our vetting process. Victor personally supervises all work on your property.
Q.Who is legally responsible if something goes wrong?
The licensed contractor who performed the work holds the legal responsibility for their trade. P&L Home Group manages the project and coordinates every specialist. Victor is your single point of accountability throughout the project.
Q.How do you ensure quality if you use different contractors?
That is exactly why the vetting process exists. We only use contractors who have proven quality over multiple projects. Victor is on site daily to inspect work, enforce standards, and catch issues before they become problems.
Q.Do I pay the contractors directly?
No. You have one contract with P&L Home Group. We handle all contractor payments, scheduling, and coordination. You never have to manage multiple invoices or schedules.
Q.What happens if a contractor does not meet your standards?
They are removed from the network immediately. We have a zero-tolerance policy for substandard work, missed deadlines without communication, or unprofessional behavior on client properties.
Q.Can I request a specific contractor for my project?
If you have worked with one of our network contractors before and want them on your next project, we will do our best to accommodate the request. Victor makes the final assignment based on availability and project fit. If you are a contractor interested in joining our network, apply on the Join Our Network page — Victor reviews every application personally.
Ready to Meet Your Team?
Every project starts with a free on-site estimate. Victor will walk your property, explain which specialists your project needs, and give you a fixed price in writing.
No pressure. No obligation. Just honest answers from the owner.
