Our service radius explained
We're based in Loudoun County, VA and serve two distinct regions: Virginia (Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, and Fauquier counties — including Leesburg, Ashburn, Purcellville, Round Hill, Great Falls, McLean, Vienna, Chantilly, Gainesville, Haymarket, Warrenton, and surrounding communities) and the Shenandoah Valley (Winchester, Frederick County, Clarke County, Warren County, and Shenandoah County as far south as New Market). We do not serve the DC metro core — Arlington, Alexandria, and Reston are at the edge of our range and handled case-by-case.

About our Shenandoah Valley coverage
We serve the Valley from Winchester south to New Market (Shenandoah County). Drive times from our Loudoun County base range from 45 minutes (Winchester) to about 85 minutes (New Market). We schedule Valley projects in dedicated day runs — no extra travel fees. The Valley's limestone-clay soils and Zone 6b climate require different base depths and timing than NoVA, and our crews are trained for both.

View New Market ServicesVirginia sits in USDA Zone 7a — temperatures swing from below freezing in January to the high 90s in summer. The soil across Loudoun, Fairfax, and Prince William counties is heavy Piedmont clay: it compacts easily, drains poorly, and expands and contracts with moisture in ways that crack hardscape joints and cause persistent drainage problems if not addressed at installation.
Every patio, retaining wall, and walkway we install in Leesburg, Ashburn, Purcellville, Round Hill, Herndon, or Chantilly is built with appropriate compacted aggregate base depth and proper drainage diversion to handle the region's seasonal extremes. We've been working this soil since day one — we know exactly how deep to go and where the water wants to move.
Virginia homeowners also deal with strict HOA architectural standards governing patio materials, fire pit placement, and plant selection. Our team designs projects that look great and comply with your neighborhood's requirements from the start — no surprises at permit time.
The Shenandoah Valley is Zone 6b — a full hardiness zone colder than NoVA, with later last frosts in spring and earlier first frosts in fall. The terrain is limestone-based rather than clay-heavy, which changes how we approach base preparation, drainage, and plant selection. Rolling topography creates natural tiered spaces that are ideal for multi-level patios and retaining walls.
The Valley's cooler evenings mean fire pit season runs from March through November — longer than NoVA — making fire features one of the best investments a Valley homeowner can make. Many Valley properties also have well water rather than municipal supply, which affects irrigation system design and startup timing.
We schedule Valley projects in dedicated day runs from our Loudoun County base — Winchester and Frederick County are about 45–55 minutes out; Shenandoah County towns (Woodstock, Strasburg, Edinburg, Mount Jackson, New Market) are 65–85 minutes. No extra travel fees. Same owners, same crew, same standard.
Clay & Limestone Experts
We build for both NoVA clay and Valley limestone — different bases, same quality result.
Longer Fire Pit Season
Valley Zone 6b means fire features get used March–November. Worth every penny.
